John 1:6 ‘There came a man sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify….’
Ps Gordon Moore says that God sends His message wrapped in a person. It is the message of love to the world. God’s Love is wrapped in you.
The way that love message is best conveyed is not through long discussions and ‘Bible bashing’ and arguments about doctrine or beliefs, but rather through being in relationship with others.
Relationship is distinct from communication like sms, texting or email.
Relationship is actual whereas communication is virtual.
Relationship means engaging face to face. Relationship is being with in the good and the bad times. Relationship shows that we care and if our friends see this, they will then listen to our message; God’s message of love for them.
God sends us to be the message of reconciliation and love to his world.
