Matthew 5:16 “…let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and praise your Father in heaven.”

When we invest into another’s life by doing good deeds, we communicate to that person that they are of value. People may say, “You shouldn’t have!” when we do something kind or give them a gift but deep down they are saying, “It feels so good to be cared about.”

Investment means that we sow good deeds and believe that we will reap a harvest.

The harvest we should expect from investment into others, includes:
• that they feel worth and value, safety and hope,
• that they engage you in God conversations because you are winsome in your interactions with them,
• that they move closer to praising God and knowing him for themselves.
